MahaRERA approves around 70 Projects after Diwali
On 28th October 2022, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority issued alerts on recently registered projects in the state of Maharashtra after the festive period of Diwali.
The Konkan and Pune top divisions will make up the majority of the construction projects on the list. After Diwali, a total of 70 projects were approved. Sanctioned projects include residential and commercial buildings and industrial land offered to companies interested in building factories or production facilities. Mixed developments also appear on this list: zones with different functions coexist harmoniously, such as shops, offices or car parks.
The first of these projects to stand with the most sanctioned residential properties is 46. Furthermore, there are 5 upcoming commercial projects and 14 more coming in second and third place, respectively, to occupy a position after residential, and we can see that clearance for 5 plot allotments has already been granted.
The majority of residential constructions are in Konkan and Pune. Commercial property covers a substantial portion of the development space in Konkan, with three projects running there; the other two commercial projects are all located in Pune. The list also includes some ongoing and future mixed-use developments in Pune and Konkan. Furthermore, we have Amravati, Aurangabad, Nasikh, and Nagpur on the list with diverse project allotments when addressing different divisions.
The major chunk of projects are concentrated in Pune and the Konkan geographic area. Pune has a total of 26 projects, whereas Konkan has 27 projects, where Pune has two commercial projects, twenty residential projects, and four miscellaneous projects. Konkan has been approved for 15 residential projects, 3 business projects, 8 unspecified projects, and 1 plot property allocation. Two residential developments have been approved for Amravati. Aurangabad has three projects, two of which are residential and one of which is commercial. Moving on with MahaRERA updates, Nagpur received four plot allotments and three residential construction allotments.
